![]() ![]() The best weapons, Gold-tier one handed such as machete, sickle, etc, will have up to total 686 durability each, that is around 600 hits to fully break one weapon, assuming that Lucky Repair skill doesn't proc even once. Instead of editing I will place it in new comment because not everyone may be aware of this. I forgot to include some information in my first comment. did not know you could restore the repairs but hearing this now i am curious and will look into said thing. ![]() I made guide and explained how to do it in details here. I also understand you because in the beginning I used to dislike weapon degradation, when I didn't yet have stash full of wapons and thousand+ Bozak dockets which I'll probably never use, and I found weapon which I'd really wanted to keep myself. Killing zombies would have less value into because you wouldn't be sacrificing anything in it. Without durability, there would be literally no point to continue looting. İlk olarak not playing BladeMaster tarafından gönderildi:It does. You can refurbish weapons and restore their durability as well as repairs back to full, while keeping weapon fully intact along with its blueprint and weapon upgrades, you can refurbish as much as you can carry per mission run, and this is infinitely repeatable. I also understand you because in the beginning I used to dislike weapon degradation, when I didn't yet have stash full of weapons and thousand+ Bozak dockets which I'll probably never use, and I found weapon which I'd really wanted to keep myself.īut there is actually way to do that, though it requires some effort. ![]() On the other hand, while I don't think straight infinite durability would be good for the game, a way to increase durability and perhaps other stats such as damage and swing speed (deactivated during invasions, of course) via mechanic such as weapon proficiency would be something I'd enjoy. I know as i have studyed the limits of a lot of real world metals and they all have a breaking point. It is not a pointless mechanic it is what makes a survival game or survival horror just that a survival game If you do not maintain your stuff properly then you will not survive long even in the real world.Īnd your wrong if you hit things with a weapon plenty of times regardless of what is made of it will Break it is a Reality thing that would even happen in the real world. If you have a issue with Durability features in games then i highly suggest you stay away from any type of major true surival type game, Because plenty and i mean quite a damn lot of modern survival type game still carry the durability feature. not to mention in the real world if you repair something to many times then there is no longer fixeing it anymore. True Survival Horror always has a durability thing as does any survival game because in reality your crap is not unbreakable if you do not get the parts and stuff to properly maintain it. If you hit them against stuff enough they will break if you do not maintain maintenance on them.Īnd when it comes to the guns in a thing like what is going on in this game Ammo is gonna be limited as well.įrom what it sounds to me your upset because the game is not a walk in the park easy type deal because you constantly have to search for stuff to repair your weapons and ammunition. Suvivial horror is meant to mimic that of what would happen in Real Life and if you go by real life logic there is no such thing as unbreakable melee weapons. Not to mention getting the parts to repair said weapons is rather easy it just takes metal parts which if you scavange bodies and everything search everywhere they are easy to find. You Do Realize this game is Survival Horror? And if they Removed the durability trait it would no longer be a survival horror game.
